Alex Lama VFX Artist

With a passion for computers, graphics and old school videogames since he was a child, Alex completed his degree in Computer Science in 2000 at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico.

The first 3D software he had access to was 3d Studio (DOS) in University, eventually gaining access to 3DS Max. He continued with computer graphics as a hobby while working on his degree. After realizing that the animation and visual effects field was where he wanted to be, and recognizing the extremely competitive nature of the industry, he spent a few years working as a web developer to save the money to attend a 3D animation school.

Alex has just received his Diploma in 3D Animation and Visual Effects from Lost Boys Learning in Canada. He presents here his showreel, demonstrating not only technical abilities but also creativity and dedication.
